Stock prices closed mostly higher on Thursday as analysts reports had good things to say about Bank of America and GE, particularly the GE Capital part. So, financial stocks got a boost and brought the rest of the market up as well, despite some caution about a government jobs report due out Friday morning. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 33 points, or 0.3%, to 10,607. The S&P 500 was also up, but the Nasdaq Composite down slightly. Broadcasting stocks were higher.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.290, or 2%, to 217.208.
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.580, or 0.4%, to 142.648.
