Bargain hunters pushed stock prices back up ahead of a major speech later this week by Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 322 points, or 3%, to 11,177. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.812, or 1.8%, to 279.978.
The TVBR Television Index was up 9.234, or 4.7%, to 203.888.
