WASHINGTON, D.C. — Federal District Court Judge Loren L. AliKhan has been asked by none other than U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro to toss a First Amendment violation claim filed against the Federal Communications Commission by ABC and its parent, The Walt Disney Company.

The 46-page petition, submitted to the court on Thursday (9/3), seeks AliKhan’s dismissal of ABC/Disney’s motion for both a Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction effectively barring the Commission from moving forward with a controversial early license renewal proceeding.
