ArmstrongThe FCC has voted in favor of MVPD operator Armstrong Utilities in a carriage fee dispute concerning the Root Sports Pittsburgh regional sports network (RSN), upholding a 2011 Media Bureau arbitration decision.

In a four to one vote, the FCC agreed with the arbitration decision that found Armstrong’s final bid represented a fair market value for RSN’s operator, DirecTV Sports Net Pittsburgh. The network offers cable access to Major League Baseball’s Pittsburgh Pirates and the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins, said a RapidTV News report.
