The FCC has given its blessing to a deal that sees Scott Centers agree to take on ownership of a low-power television station licensed to Mesquite, Nev., a municipality within the Las Vegas DMA just over the state line from St. George, Utah.
Centers’ Center Point Broadcasting Company on June 1 received FCC approval for its purchase of KMSQ-LD in Mesquite.
The seller is Tiny Tortoise Investments LLC.
Centers is paying $25,000 for the LPTV property.
Serving as his broker in this transaction is Craig Ruark, doing business as The Broadcast License Store.
The seller is not responsible for any broker commission.
Tiny Tortoise is helmed by Michael Mulinax, who resides in famed seniors’ only city The Villages, in Central Florida.
