A deal has been signed that will see the transfer of control of an FM translator serving the Fairfield, Iowa, area with religious programming as a rebroadcast partner of Bob Palmeter-run “Life FM” in nearby Keokuk.

The buyer is one of the largest religious broadcast ministries in the world.

That would be Bott Radio Network, which through its “Community Broadcasting Inc.” licensee is purchasing K272AL at 102.5 MHz from Fairfield Monthly Meeting of Friends.

A $100 cash payment will be made by Bott for the facility.

Once the deal is done the FM translator will be brough into the BRN family.

Serving as Bott’s legal counsel is Kathleen Victory of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth.
