Stocks rose Monday on increased confidence that European countries will reach agreement on a comprehensive plan to resolve the continent’s fiscal problems. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 105 points, or 0.9%, to 11,914. Broadcasting stocks had a good day, led by Dial-Global as it replaced Westwood One on Nasdaq following their merger.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.447, or 2.6%, to 290.313.
The TVBR Television Index was up 9.513, or 4.1%, to 240.601.
