It’s a Class B AM that signed on in 1949 as KCUL-AM and since 1967 has had 11 subsequent call letters and a variety of formats including “Personal Achievement Radio” in the late 1990s, and Spanish-language programming.
In 2006, it became a part of the predecessor company of Estrella Media, after LBI Media acquired it from Entravision. Now, Estrella has struck a deal to sell the AM station.
