Trans America Broadcasting Corp. plans to sell KTYM(AM) to El Sembrador Ministries.
KTYM is licensed to Inglewood, Calif.
The station is a Class B with a 2-tower directional array authorized for 5,000 watts day and 500 watts night.
The purchase price is $5.8 million and the sale includes the KTYM transmitter site, west of the former Baldwin Hills Reservoir in Los Angeles. A deposit of $400,000 was to be placed in an escrow account with the balance to be paid by wire transfer at closing.
The seller’s studio building on West Boulevard in Inglewood is excluded from the transaction.
According to the paperwork filed at the FCC earlier this month, Trans America and ESM executed a local programming and marketing agreement.
