eOne Television CEO John Morayniss signs long-term contract

j-moraynissJohn Morayniss has signed a new long-term agreement with Entertainment One to continue as Chief Executive Officer of eOne Television.


Morayniss has led the division since its inception in 2008. Over the past six years, the eOne TV business has grown from approximately $100 million to over $300 million in revenue. Morayniss will continue to oversee all aspects of eOne Television’s development, production, financing, licensing, and worldwide distribution activities in both original and third-party scripted and unscripted programming for broadcast, cable and digital platforms in all territories throughout the world.

eOne TV has built a network of first-look and output partnerships including an exclusive multi-year distribution agreement with AMC Networks for all original scripted series from AMC and Sundance TV. In addition, eOne recently acquired factual producers Paperny Entertainment and Four Four Entertainment and took a significant stake in The Mark Gordon Company to launch a television and film studio with producer Mark Gordon.
