Envision Radio NetworksHangar 19 is a three-hour classic metal show that showcases the metal scene from the ‘80s and early ‘90s. The name Hangar 19 references Megadeth’s song “Hangar 18” from their album Rust in Peace. Hosted by Cutter, a staple in NE Wisconsin radio that has spent 15 years on the air at Active Rock and Mainstream Rock radio, Hangar 19 is produced by veteran PD Jason Hillery who says: “When it comes to metal, Cutter knows what’s up. He completely lives the lifestyle, and his knowledge of the scene is the best in the biz.”

Each weekend, Hangar 19 relives the glory days of classic metal and features music from the artists who built this explosive genre including Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Metallica, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Korn, Slayer and Marilyn Manson. Cutter stops down from the nostalgia just long enough to highlight new metal in a weekly “Then and Now” segment and to interview the bands that helped mold the speaker-shredding musical movement with such metal greats as Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Dave Ellefson of Megadeth, and George Lynch of Dokken.
