SoldRadio One Communications, LLC is looking to spin a Wisconsin AM station.

WRPN is licensed to Ripon, Wisconsin, which is in the eastern portion of the state, some 85 miles northwest of Milwaukee.

Thomas Boyson’s Hometown Broadcasting, LLC is the buyer.

The price is $325,000 to be paid as a promissory note.

Mike Enfeldt’s Radio One will fix “all transmitter and phasor issues”; if not, the price would be deducted from the $125,000 loan paid to the buyer over a 10-year term.

Hometown also owns three other Wisconsin stations: WAUH(FM), Wautoma, WISS(AM), Berlin, and FM translator W247AZ, Berlin/Oshkosh.

WRPN is a Class B AM transmitting 5,000 watts; it operates on 1600 kHz.
