For the second time within the calendar confines of 2011, brokerage Kalil and Co. has sold KYSF-FM Bonanza OR. The first time it went from a bankruptcy trustee to a new license company formed by two members of the Ingstad family in a cluster deal. Now its going as a singleton FM to Educational Media Foundation.

The station was part of New Northwest Broadcasters. It was bought along with KAGO AM-FM and KLAD AM-FM Klamath Falls by Basin Mediactive LLC, owned by Robert J. and Tor H. Ingstad. Receiver Alan M. Davis of licensee Revitalization Partners LLC, formed specifically to spin off NNW properties, was the seller. The price for the cluster was $600K.

Noncom religious outfit EMF will buy the station for $125KJ cash.

KYSF-FM sends 460 W of power from a 2,106’ antenna as a Class C3 on 102.9 MHz. As is its custom, EMF plans to operate it as a noncommercial station, with its Christian Contemporary K-Love format a strong candidate for installation on the facility.
