Edgewater’s End Game: Giving Away FM Translators

In March 2003, Twin Falls, Idaho-based Edgewater Broadcasting filed approximately 1,700 applications for FM translators across the country. It was granted 484 construction permits.

Some 14 years later, Edgewater accelerated the transfer of hundreds of construction permits, including the Friday filing of paperwork codifying the sale of a Montana translator.

Now comes word that Edgewater is parting ways with several other FM translators by simply giving them away.
