In May 2024, E Radio Network LLC agreed to acquire an AM/FM combo with an accompanying FM translator in Vivian, La., from MLS Broadcasting Inc., in a deal that required bankruptcy court approval, as the seller had filed for Chapter 7 dissolution.
Now, E is selling those three Bayou State audio properties.
KNCB-AM & FM & K281CY — silent under Special Temporary Authority with the FCC — are being sold by E Radio Network, led by Christie Tate.
The buyer is Cass County Radio Inc., led by President Jim Davenport.
With Allan G. Moskowitz serving as E Radio’s legal counsel and Cass County represented by John Trent of Putbrese, Hunsacker & Trent, a Form 314 filing made April 7 with the FCC confirms the deal. Due to a filing error, an asset purchase agreement was not publicly available as of RBR+TVBR’s Tuesday deadlines.
E Radio’s other holdings include AM and FM stations and FM translators located across the Texarkana region.
