Good news from Europe regarding support for the debt load of Greece boosted Wall Street confidence that the recovery will stay on trck. The Dow Jones Industrial Average briefly touched 11K and closed with a gain of 70 points, or 0.6%, to 10,997. It was an up day for broadcasting stocks.
The RBR Radio Index was up 15.256, or 5.6%, to 288.611.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.687, or 1%, to 178.965.
