During the AWS-3 auction, allegedly small companies were able to snap up billions of dollars worth of spectrum at a discount, only to have it discovered that Dish Network owned 85% of the winning bidders. The FCC is doing more than just trying to close the loophole Dish used.
According to The Hill, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler has staffers reviewing the bids.
