DGA Gets New Deal As WGA Preps For Longer Strike

Over the weekend, the Directors Guild of America (DGA) reached a tentative new three-year deal with TV and movie studios that the organization calls “historic.” The negotiations took place amid the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, but the WGA has taken a negative stance on the new deal and is prepared to strike as long as it takes to get their demands.
