Del Taco teams with KROQ


Del Taco announced the company has teamed up with KROQ-FM LA for a new promotion. Listeners can visit participating Southern California Del Taco restaurants for a free KROQ sticker, participate in “bold” events such as bobbing for Del Inferno packets, a Macho burrito toss, and riding a tricycle while balancing a tray of Del Taco food to win prizes, and enter to win the grand prize: a KROQ Golden Ticket that will grant one fan access to every KROQ show in 2009 and a brand-new 2009 Toyota Matrix.

The promotion began yesterday and runs through 10/19. Consumers can register for the grand prize drawing online or mail in the registration form that is attached to the KROQ sticker. More than 300,000 stickers are expected to be given out during the promotion.

The events will take place at Del Taco restaurants in Anaheim, Chino, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Ontario, Pico Rivera, Pomona, Stanton, Stevenson Ranch and the West Hills.

“KROQ listeners are also Del Taco raving fans. This promotion adds another bold element to our current ‘Go Bold or Go Home’ campaign,” said Jon Burke, field marketing manager at Del Taco. “We are excited to work with KROQ to deliver an exciting opportunity for consumers.”
