The new deal is for WVNZ-AM Richmond VA and WTOX-AM Glenn Allen VA.
Davidson Media Group LLC is headed by Sanjay Sanghoee.
TBLC Media LLC is headed by Mark Janbakhsh.
The price is $400,000 cash.
According to BIA, both stations are currently using Hispanic formats.
WVNZ-AM is a Class D on 1320 kHz with 5 kW-D, 8 W-N, DA2. By day, WVNZ’s coverage comes close to fitting the Richmond urbanized area like a glove; by night, it reaches a small portion on the south side of town.
WTOX-AM is a Class Bon 1480 kHz with 6.3 kW-D, 1.5 kW-N, DA2. WVNZ also does a decent job covering Richmond by day; at night, it’s oriented to the northwest, putting its main contour over most of Richmond proper.
The previous deal was for $3,100,000 and involved nine AMs, and FM and a translator in Charlotte NC, Greensboro-Winston-Salem NC, Raleigh-Durham NC, Greenville Spartanburg SC and Kansas City MO-KS.
