Dave Boretti has joined the SBS Aire Network sales group. Based in Chicago, Dave has rejoined with former boss at Univision Radio Network, Jack Hobbs (now EVP/Corporate Sales at SBS) and will handle the Midwest region. Prior to this, Dave was at WestwoodOne and was involved with their short-lived Hispanic sales operation prior to the Cumulus purchase.
Aire Radio Networks, launched 1/1, is a multi-network delivery system catering to Youth and bi-lingual multicultural audiences “that we’re really seeing start to develop out there in the marketplace. With the strength of the SBS stations in NYC, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco and LA, we’ve really got the bookends.”
The specific, dedicated networks (Arbitron Nationwide-rated, not yet RADAR-rated) include:
–”The Advantage Network”—dedicated to Hispanic Men (65% Men 34, affiliates)
–”The Young Adult Network” (Hispanic Adults 18-49)
–”The Millennial Network” (18-34, Spanish CHR and hits)
–”Prime Family” (The entire family, concentrated in top markets—Weekends only)
–”Thalia”—joined 12/1 from Cumulus
–“Aire Deportivo” Sports with “The Mayor El Al Calde”
–“Alex Sensation” He is a DJ for EDM music.
