A New York Tri-State Area radio listener named Daniel Miller really doesn’t like Pacifica Radio’s noncommercial WBAI-FM 99.5 in New York.
In fact, he detests WBAI so much that he filed an Informal Objection against its license renewal application with the FCC, on the grounds that an escaped fugitive described as a “hero” on an unspecified ‘BAI broadcast was not free speech and therefore subject to license forfeiture.
This was denied, and on Aug. 30 Miller filed an application for review (AFR). That application was shot down by the FCC on Tuesday (12/13).
