It’s a big deal, not only for iHeartMedia but for NBC Sports, which offered The Hollywood Reporter the news well before Premiere Networks decided to share the details with radio industry trade publications.

Dan Patrick has renewed a multiplatform distribution agreement, squashing chatter that the veteran sports talk host may be retiring.

This means “The Dan Patrick Show” will continue, with a production team that includes Paul Pabst, Patrick O’Connor, Todd Fritz and Marvin Prince. Premiere Networks will continue its role as the exclusive, global digital and terrestrial audio distribution partner; the program is a “key member” of FOX Sports Radio’s lineup, heard from 9am-Noon Eastern.

“The Dan Patrick Show,” launched in October 2007, will also continue to stream on Peacock every weekday. A simulcast on NBC Sports Audio Channel 85 on SiriusXM will continue, too.

The new contract ensures that Patrick will continue to work with iHeartMedia to produce The Dan Patrick Podcast Network. Launched in August 2020 and distributed by iHeartPodcasts, the network features a slate of original entertainment and sports podcasts co-produced by Patrick, iHeartPodcasts and Workhouse Media, including “Dan Patrick Takes a Gamble,” “More To It with Marcellus Wiley,” and others.

Dan Patrick is represented by Paul Anderson of Workhouse Media, Inc.
