WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Media and Democracy Project is still mad over the Federal Communications Commission’s Media Bureau decision to renew the license for Fox Television Stations’ WTXF “FOX 29” in Philadelphia — so much that it has asked a federal appeals court to force the Commission to hold a full vote on the OK.
Why? Doing so would allow the advocacy group that’s targeting the station for larger concerns regarding FOX tied to “news distortion” and character issues with FOX’s ultimate leadership to take the FCC to court.
