TeleFutura Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 07/12/10: Thus far in the 2009/2010 Season, TeleFutura is generating strong year-over-year audience growth during broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ (+35%), Adults 18-49 (+35%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%) compared to the same period in the 2008/2009 Season.
The exciting grand finale of TeleFutura’s M-F 10pm novela, “Las Muñecas de la Mafia” (The Mafia Dolls) aired on 7/12/2010:
Generated 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 million Adults 18-49, 686,000 Adults 18-34 and 800,000 Persons 12-34.
Was the 3rd highest-ranked novela or series finale of all-time in the history of the network among all key demographics, including Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Persons 12-34.
Was the highest-ranked telecast in its full-run (since 05/03/2010) among Total Viewers 2+, 2nd highest among Adults 18-49 and Persons 12-34, and 3rd highest among Adults 18-34.
Premiering in the weeknight 10pm hour was TeleFutura’s new hit series “Rosario Tijeras.” In its first full-week, “Rosario Tijeras”:
Attracted over 950,000 Total Viewers 2+, over 600,000 Adults 18-49 (638,000) and nearly 500,000 Adults 18-34 (455,000) .
Delivered comparable Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 viewership levels to one of TeleFutura’s top-rated novelas of all-time, “Vecinos.” In fact, “Rosario Tijeras” averaged more Adults 18-34 (455,000 vs. 383,000; +19% higher) and Persons 12-34 (536,000 vs. 451,000; +19% higher) in its premiere week than “Vecinos” first full-week average.
For the week, “Rosario Tijeras” was the 2nd highest-ranked program on the TeleFutura Network during broadcast prime, behind the finale of “Las Muñecas de la Mafia” across all key demographics.
