Marketron / MediascapeMarketron’s Network Connect is a service that fully automates the process of network orders and scheduling for media groups. Network Connect is a component of the Mediascape platform that eliminates time and effort media companies spend processing network orders.

The Cumulus deal marks a significant point for Marketron, making it the most powerful network solution in the industry. The addition of Cumulus, a group of more than 4,000 affiliate radio stations will allow Makretron to expand its top tier list of major media organization integrations. Network Connect has already integrated with other large radio networks, such as Dial Global, Premiere Networks and United Stations Radio Network.

“As one of the largest media networks in the country, it’s important for Cumulus Media Networks to foster partnerships with the best technology and solutions providers in the space,” said Alfred Lutter, Chief Technology Officer at Cumulus Media Networks. “Each year, our affiliates reach over 121 million listeners in the 12+ demographic each week, and the Cumulus integration with Network Connect creates a valuable and efficient workflow for our affiliate stations and advertisers. We look to leaders like Marketron to propel our industry forward. Network Connect is a prime example of just that.”

With this integration, Cumulus Media Networks’ affiliate radio stations can take advantage of Network Connect’s proven ability to minimize network spot makegoods, eliminate the manual work of entering network orders into the station traffic system and electronically return exact spot times to Cumulus Media Networks for improved performance and reporting. Prior to Network Connect, orders, copy instructions and revisions related to fulfilling network contracts were a complex process that cost radio stations an enormous amount of time and makegoods. Network Connect addresses these challenges and is exclusively available from Marketron.
