Happy Thanksgiving, Canada. Your radio station may no longer need to submit a license renewal application, thanks to a “modernization of radio processes” memorandum released on Friday by the Gatineau, Quebec-based Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
The CRTC also moved forward with a one-year trial of an opportunity that both Rogers Sports & Media and Corus Entertainment could take advantage of, giving their AM stations a bit of “revitalization” that’s commonplace in the U.S.
