A former Member of Congress who was defeated in his primary reelection campaign by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has responded to the co-sponsoring of the “Local Radio Freedom Act” by a majority of his ex-colleagues with a shrug.
Joe Crowley, who heads the recording industry organization that has failed to secure Congressional support of the “American Music Fairness Act,” blasted the meaningful and symbolic promise of some 218 House members, calling it “a meaningless accomplishment.”
