Criminal Investigation Begins In N.C. AM’s Tower Destruction

In the final weeks of 2021, Stu Epperson’s Truth Broadcasting Corp. signed off on an asset purchase agreement for a 5kw Class B AM facility at 600kHz serving Winston-Salem, N.C., along with its FM translator.

On Tuesday, Epperson found himself suddenly suffering from a deep loss. The four towers used by the radio station had been vandalized. Today, those towers are fully destroyed, and law enforcement officials are actively seeking the culprit.
