Cox Reps has added a Local Solutions Group to its Cox Cross Media company. This group will specialize in multimarket broadcast advertising and provide direct sales solutions across the hundreds of broadcast stations within the Cox Reps organization. Cox Reps represents approximately 40% of all national spot advertising.
The Local Solutions Group will be led by Mary Barnas, vice president of Cox Cross Media’s Local Solutions Group. In her new role, she will report to Steve Shaw, SVP of Cox Cross Media, and oversee staff in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago. She most recently served as EVP and director of local broadcast for Carat.
By providing ease of execution for spot advertising, Cox Cross Media will help draw new advertisers into local television. Advertisers and agencies now can conveniently work with one company to develop customized programs across multiple mediums — from the campaign’s development through its completion.
Cox Cross Media is also launching an updated website with advanced capabilities. Site visitors can easily plan digital campaigns via the online database. Cox Cross Media’s content partners and site locations are easily located, and the site provides online resources to view the latest industry news.
