COVID-19 Creates Another Virtual FCC Open Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The novel coronavirus has once again put the kibbosh on a traditional FCC Open Commission Meeting.

Instead of gathering in its usual locale in Southwest D.C., Chairman Ajit Pai and the four Commissioners will participate in a teleconference.

Because of these “special circumstances,” the first three items on the agenda will be considered during the meeting. The one item of interest to the radio industry is expected to be voted on circulation prior to the meeting.
