The media has certainly begun to spread its attention around again in the aftermath of the 2008 election season – and there’s been plenty to look into. According to the Project for Excellence in Journalism charts for 12/1/08-12/7/08, four stories made it into double digits, with a mere 20% needed by the financial crisis to claim the top slot.
A wide-ranging field of interest included financial matters, the incoming Obama administration, foreign matters and a return by O.J. Simpson, whose sentencing gave him a 3% share of total coverage.
