Could A ‘Banning Surveillance Advertising Act’ Benefit Broadcasters?

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Legislation has been introduced in both the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, if passed, would prohibit advertising networks and facilitators from using personal data to target advertisements.


Could the legislation give terrestrial radio and TV broadcasters a boost? Or, is it a law that only Democrats would support, leading to inaction in the lower body of Congress?
