The VP/General Manager of the radio industry service company that’s parent to such offerings as XTrends, Analyst and Hook Exchange has announced his retirement. The news comes 25 years after he helped launch Cornerstone Research.

The decision of Mark Schreiber to exit his role at Cornerstone Research at the end of 2025 concludes a distinguished career in the radio industry — the past thirty-seven years dedicated to radio software.

“This has not been an easy decision,” said Schreiber, who was Brad Riegel’s first hire in 2000 when Cornerstone first hung its shingle. “I love what I do and will deeply miss not
only our longtime clients, but especially my close-knit Cornerstone family. But our most valuable asset is time, and I’m looking forward to being on my own schedule — and catching more late-night West Coast Dodgers games!”

Riegel and Schreiber first got to know each other as co-workers at Tapscan. “I knew he was the right person to help lay the foundation for Cornerstone,” Riegel said. “His talent, dedication, and leadership have been instrumental to our success.”

Reflecting on his career, Schreiber added, “I’m tremendously proud that Brad, our colleagues, and I built a successful company from the ground up — and that after twenty-five years, it’s still thriving. I can’t thank enough the many programmers, researchers, and managers who have supported us and have been such a pleasure to work with.”

During his tenure, Schreiber helped establish Cornerstone’s flagship products, used by major radio groups across the U.S. and in the international marketplace.
