Two years and five months after Tom Dobrez agreed to sell a Class C2 FM in Avon, Colo., and a Class C1 FM in Vail, Colo., the operator of CoolRadioStreaming.com is moving forward with a sale of his remaining facility.

The buyer? The entity that grabbed those two properties from Dobrez’ Cool Radio LLC in September 2017.

According to a broker announcement distributed by Kozacko Media Services, Cool Radio is selling Class A 6kw Classic Hits KSNO-FM 103.9 in Snowmass Village, Colo., to Rocky Mountain Radio Group LLC.

Dobrez is collecting $225,000 for the sale of the station.

If the buyer of this station that reaches Aspen and Glenwood Springs sounds familiar, it is because Rocky Mountain Radio is the entity that acquired KZYR-FM 97.7 in Avon, Colo., and KKVM-FM 104.7 in Vail, Colo., in a $1 million deal.

Rocky Mountain Radio is led by majority owner Gary Schwedt and minority owner James Schubert.

Rocky Mountain in November 2018 added KKVC-FM 100.1 in Dotsero, Colo., for $6,000, grabbing it from JER Licenses.
