The company that just completed its acquisition of Alpha Media has completed a series of leadership promotions and a programming appointment in its two pre-merger locales: Nassau-Suffolk and Fairfield County/New Haven, Conn.

Ed Oliveira has been elevated to Operations Manager of Connoisseur Media‘s stations in Connecticut. He rises from Director of Traffic & Creative Services for the properties and has been with Connoisseur Media for more than a decade.

“I am grateful for this opportunity and excited to take on this expanded role,” said Oliveira. “This feels like a natural step for me, and I appreciate Kristin Okesson for believing in me and my abilities. One person that has been a near-constant in my career is Keith Dakin. Having the opportunity to receive the baton from him and building on his work is a task I take on with pride. I am beyond excited to expand my role with the amazing people on this team. They are so good that operations could probably run on its own BUT I am ecstatic they chose me to oversee it.”

Concurrently, Connoisseur Media/Connecticut Director of Digital & Design Meghan Boyd adds similar duties for the company’s station on New York’s Long Island. She’s has been with Connoisseur Media since 2011 and is called “a key driver of Connoisseur’s digital strategy and creative design.”

Meanwhile, former WWZY “107.1 The Boss” programming talent Robby Bridges has joined Connoisseur Media as Program Director and midday host for Country WWWF “103.1 The Wolf” in Nassau-Suffolk and as PD of WEBE-FM 107.9 in Bridgeport, Conn. He had spent four years as Press Communications’ VP/Programming, and Bridges arrives at Connoisseur Media on September 22.
