It’s a collegiate athletic conference whose members today include Boise State University, Fresno State University, Gonzaga University, San Diego State University and Washington State University, among other schools on the west coast of the U.S.

Now, fans of this conference’s basketball teams — both men’s and women’s — and its football teams’ crowning event can tune to audio coverage across affiliate stations produced and marketed by Compass Media Networks.

The rights agreement between Compass and The Pac-12 Conference & PLAYFLY Sports extends to the Pac-12 Football Championship and Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments.

It’s a multi-year agreement, with pre- and post-game and live play-by-play coverage beginning December 4, 2026, with the Pac-12 Football Championship, followed on March 13, 2027 with the Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship Games held on the same day in Las Vegas.

“As we celebrate the Pac-12’s next chapter, we are excited to partner with Compass Media Networks and Playfly Sports to deliver high-quality audio broadcasts at a national scale for our championship games in football and men’s and women’s basketball,” said Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould. “Fans across the country will have live play-by-play access to three of our premier events across all audio platforms.”

Compass Media Networks General Manager of Sports Programming Robert Blum added, “The Pac-12 Conference is an awesome addition to our play-by-play sports lineup. We look forward to working with the Pac-12 Conference and PLAYFLY Sports to build excitement for these iconic matchups.”

The Pac-12 Conference continues despite the defection of several of its marquee schools resulting from the adoption of Name, Image and Likeness rules pertaining to college sports and new TV rights agreements that have greatly impacted traditional school alliances. This includes the University of Arizona and Arizona State University (now in the Big 12); and The University of Washington, The University of Oregon, UCLA, and the University of Southern California (Big 10).
