A deal for an FM station across the Juan de Fuca Strait from British Columbia, Canada will create an old-fashioned AM-FM combo as well as adding to a small regional cluster.
The station is KSTI-FM Port Angeles WA.
The seller is Owensville Communications LLC, headed by President Marcus D. Jones.
The buyer is Radio Pacific Inc., headed by President Brown M. Maloney, 90% and Todd Ortloff, 10%.
The price is $280,000 cash.
The station will form a combo with KONP-AM Port Angeles.
RPI also holds a CP for a new FM to be built just to the east in Sequim WA, but it will have no overlap with either Port Angeles station.
KSTI-FM is a Class A on 102.1 MHz with 3.6 kW @ -268’.
KONP-AM is a Class C on 1450 kHz with 1 kW-D, 916 W-N, ND.
