On Thursday, iHeartMedia Division President Scott Hopeck confirmed to Streamline Publishing’s Radio Ink that Market Presidents Kelly Kibler (Dallas) and Matt Martin (San Antonio and Austin) are no longer with the company.

With Detroit Region President Paul Corvino now overseeing the three Lone Star markets as Region President, iHeartMedia has moved to fill Corvino’s shoes in the Motor City by promoting from within.

Now in the role of Metro President for iHeartMedia in Detroit is Colleen Grant, who rises from SVP of Sales.

With the elevation to Metro President, Grant now has full oversight of a collection of radio brands comprised of resurgent R&B-formatted WJLB-FM, Adult Contemporary WNIC-FM, Adult R&B WMXD-FM, Top 40 WKQI “Channel 95.5,” Classic Rock WLLZ “Detroit’s Wheels,” and BIN: Black Information Network affiliate WDFN-AM 1130.

Grant reports to Tom McConnell, Division President for iHeartMedia. “Colleen has been instrumental to the success in Detroit,” McConnell said. “She has created a culture of high performance, accountability and respect and is the perfect choice to lead the Detroit market.”

Grant’s previous roles include Region Vice President of Automotive for iHeartMedia’s Detroit Region.

“This is a childhood dream come true for me,” Grant said. “Having a father who was the General Manager of television stations, I’d always wanted to oversee stations as he did. I saw the care for people it required, the creativity necessary to generate growth, and his commitment to the community. These are the things I plan to bring to this opportunity and I couldn’t be more excited to do it.”
