“Political weaponization of the FCC” is something that FCC Commissioner Anna M. Gómez discussed in early February to describe the actions of Chairman Brendan Carr’s leadership and controversial actions taken in the days since he took over the agency. Now, a group of Democrats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate are taking aim at Carr and the Trump Administration, also on the grounds of FCC “weaponization.”
