He’s been associated with KXLN-45 since 2014 and rose from VP/Sales Director to VP/Station Manager for the TelevisaUnivision station.

Now, he’s risen to the role of President/GM. And, he’s grabbing the reins of the company’s radio stations in the market.

Earning the promotion is Glenn Coleman, and this puts him in charge of not only Noticias 45 and UniMás sibling KFTH-67 but also Univision Houston’s radio, digital, community, and social media properties, including advertising sales, marketing, news, and production.

Along with the television pair, Coleman will have ultimate leadership of radio stations KLAT-AM 1010, KLTN-FM 102.9, KOVE-FM 106.5, KAMA-FM 104.9 and KQBU-FM 93.3.

In the most recent Nielsen Audio ratings for Houston-Galveston, the nation’s sixth-ranked market for radio, it was KOVE and its Spanish Adult Contemporary “Amor 106.5” presentation that led the market’s Hispanic radio stations. Overall, “Amor” is No. 8 with a 4.6 share.

Coleman is a New Orleans native and a graduate of the Broadcast Leadership Training program offered by the NAB. Before joining Univision 9 years ago, Coleman was VP/GSM for Tribune Media’s WBDC-50 in Washington, D.C. He started his career with the CBS Television Stations Group as a Business Development Account Executive in Atlanta and worked for the Dallas-Fort Worth stations as a Senior Account Executive and Local Sales Manager.
