Five days ago, it looked like the licensee of a Texas FM successfully convinced the FCC that it should not be fined for a tardy renewal application on the grounds that it was unable to log in to the FCC’s Licensing and Management Systems (LMS) database until after the filing deadline.

Now, this station owner faces a possible stripping of its license for being significantly delinquent with its regulatory fee payments. And, a new Media Bureau Chief, at least temporarily, signed off on the order.
