WASHINGTON, D.C. — There’s a “historic” addition to the agenda of the 2024 National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) Fall Conference and concurrent Power of Urban Radio Forum, which begins October 9 at the historic Mayflower Hotel on Connecticut Avenue. And, it sees a gathering of Chief Marketing Officers from some of the nation’s biggest advertisers coming together to discuss critical advertising issues and media concerns.

With the support of NABOB and Kizart Media Partners, CEOs and global marketers are gathering for the chance to learn more about a consumer market valued at more than $1.5 trillion.

An October 10 session will see a CMO Workshop, for which Procter & Gamble Co. will serve as a partner alongside NABOB and the Sherman Kizart-led KMP consultancy.

The session was created as a vehicle to help educate CMOs and senior marketing and media executives on the importance of diverse-owned and diverse media and the continued investment in diverse media for corporations’ continued growth.

Leading the workshop is fabled P&G Chief Brand Officer Marc Pritchard, who has emerged as the biggest champion of multicultural marketing and advertising in North America.

A Wonder Media CEO Chesley Maddox-Dorsey will serve as the workshop moderator.

Panelists include a who’s who of top multicultural marketing leaders:

  • Michael LaCorazza, Chief Marketing Officer, US Bank
  • Martha Boudreau, Chief Marketing Officer, AARP
  • Shenan Reed, Global Chief Media Officer, General Motors
  • Eric Austin, VP of Global Media and Marketing Innovation, Procter and Gamble
  • Kevin Miller, Chief Marketing Officer (retired), Fresh Markets
