Peter Davidson and his Davidson Media Group have closed on a swap with Michael Glinter’s Satellite Radio Network. Glinter winds up with WBZK-AM York SC, which is near Rock Hill SC and which in turn is part of the Charlotte NC Arbitron market. Davidson gets WPYR-AM, licensed to Baton Rouge, adding a second Louisiana market to go along with WGSO-AM in New Orleans. According to broker John Pierce, the deal carries an estimated value of 500K each way.
