Three market manager positions have been filled all at once by Clear Channel Radio. The newbies are in DC/Baltimore, Boston/Providence and Clear Channel’s hometown, San Antonio. All three appointments are effective immediately.

The vacancies were created earlier this month when the Market Managers for Boston, DC and San Antonio were all promoted to Senior Vice President.

First to the Nation’s Capital and nearby Charm City. Thea Mitchem has been named Market Manager for Washington, DC and Baltimore. Mitchem has been with Clear Channel Radio since 2003 and has served the market as Operations Manager since 2008.

“Thea Mitchem is one of the rare programming professionals to make the move to Market Manager, but her accomplishments and success with the company prove she is the perfect person for the position,” said Hartley Adkins, Clear Channel Radio Senior Vice President of Operations.

Mary Menna has been named Market Manager for Boston and Providence.  Menna is a 22 year Clear Channel Radio Boston veteran who previously served as Director of Sales in Boston and Providence.

“Mary Menna is the perfect choice, and will do an amazing job for Clear Channel Radio in her new role. She is a natural leader with a proven track record of success.  Her energy and passion are contagious,” said Tom McConnell, Clear Channel Radio Senior Vice President of Operations.

In Texas, Pam McKay is getting double duty. She’s already Market Manager for Clear Channel Radio Austin and will expand her role to the San Antonio market.

“Pam McKay’s track record with Clear Channel is one of consistent achievements that has propelled her rise through the ranks of our company,” said Susan Karis, Clear Channel’s Executive Vice President Operations Western Region.
