Brian Lakamp, the new CC Digital President, will oversee the company’s digital strategy–which includes iHeartRadio and the infrastructure, tools and social media integration for its local stations’ branded Internet properties.  He’ll also continue to work with key partners to develop cutting-edge tools and products for all of Clear Channel’s radio, media and entertainment properties. He replaces Evan Harrison left the company earlier this year. Harrison is now at outdoor ad company Van Wagner Communications as chief creative officer.

Lakamp was previously EVP/Digital Media at Clear Channel.  His appointment is effective immediately. He’ll report to John Hogan, CC Radio President and CEO and continue to work closely with Tom Poleman, Clear Channel’s President of National Programming Platforms, Michele Laven, EVP/Strategic Partnerships and Charlie Rahilly, President of National Advertising Platforms.

Clear Channel has also tapped Pablo Calamera Chief Technology Officer of Clear Channel Digital.  He formerly led the team that developed Thumplay’s digital music technology as their Chief Technology Officer.

Since November 2010, Clear Channel’s digital initiatives have been led by CEO Bob Pittman, who previously was Chairman of Clear Channel’s Media and Entertainment Platforms.
