WASHINGTON, D.C. — The SVP of Communications at the nation’s foremost voice for radio and television stations inside the Beltway has “made the difficult decision to pursue another professional opportunity.”

Alex Siciliano will be departing the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) at the end of next week.

In a communiqué distributed Friday, Siciliano commented, “It has been an honor to work on behalf of America’s broadcasters and to collaborate with so many of you covering this industry. I sincerely appreciate the relationships, trust and professionalism you have shown over the years, and it has been a privilege to work alongside the NAB team.”

While Siciliano says he is not ready to share details about where his next work home will be, he says he looks forward to sharing more soon.

With Siciliano’s departure, NAB Communications Director Grace Whaley and the association’s Judianne Meredith will serve as primary points of contact for NAB communications going forward.

Siciliano joined the NAB’s communications team in May 2022, reporting to Chief of Staff and VP of Public Affairs Michelle Lehman. He previously served as VP of Communications at The Petrizzo Group. Before that, Siciliano served as deputy chief of staff for then-Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado during his tenure as a member of Senate Commerce Committee. He previously served as Communications Director for Sen. Gardner and ran communications on his successful Senate campaign in 2014.
