It’s been a while since I have shared some thoughts, but I have been busy, maybe not as much as I would like, but there’s been no problem in making the day fly by.
Here is one that may help generate a few bucks during the Christmas season. Each day-have the “Merchant of the day-business of the day”—with spots done “live” by the on air or voice track person, say 6-10 times on whatever given day, at (let’s pick a figure that’s easy to work with 250.00), and promote it as such, “Listen daily for the (your station) merchant of the day—to help you find the best bargains while doing your shopping”
With enough planning it can be highlighted on the station website as well…(I’ll leave the nuts and bolts of that one to you).
And a few random thoughts and maybe even a bit of humor …we all can use a laugh to get some of the economic worries off our mind for a bit…
A bailout for the American automakers…why doesn’t the government just buy all the bureaucrats a new car? It would move inventory and would be a purchase rather than a handout?
And pharmacy techs are stealing drugs and selling them on the side-including Viagra. For this they will do hard time.
How to tell you are in a small market…The Police Dog is a Chihuahua…and Adams and Ziegler are on the same page of the phone book.
