It’s being hailed as “a new affordable option” for consumers interested in making the leap to ATSC 3.0-powered NEXTGEN TV, and it’s now available for purchase.

The receiver joins the roster of some 100 NEXTGEN TV products expected to be available this year for consumers interested in upgrading to receive the new services from broadcasters, coast-to-coast, NEXTGEN TV marketing organization Pearl TV shared on Tuesday.
NEXTGEN TV utilizes the internet and digital applications powered by the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard to present viewers with enhanced choices while providing broadcasters with “a more compelling and interactive way to deliver their content,” Pearl TV believes.
Anne Schelle, Managing Director of Pearl TV, congratulated Channel Master on offering the Zinwell NextGen TV Box to consumers, calling the technology “one of a new class of upgrade accessory receivers that will help consumers tune in to the future.”

Available now for shipment directly to consumers from ChannelMaster.com, the $149 receiver (Model ZAT-600B) is the industry’s first to offer “unconnected mode” for viewing secure broadcast channels.
Designed to work with receiving antenna products such as those offered by Channel Master, the Zinwell receiver fully supports future 4K broadcasts, enhanced Dolby audio, and access to broadcaster applications. The Zinwell receiver includes an on-screen guide and comes with a universal remote that can be programmed to control a TV and/or a sound bar audio system. Certified to carry the NEXTGEN TV logo, the Zinwell ZAT-600B is also A3SA security verified to operate without needing an internet connection for tuning to channels with protected broadcast content.
NEXTGEN TV receivers are available to consumers at a wide assortment of retail prices and is built into select TV models and in upgrade accessory receivers manufactured by Zinwell; ADTH; Hisense; Sony; LG; Samsung, and, later this year, TCL.
