Cerullo Secures Another Signal in NEPA

A radio station licensee based in Allentown, Pa., and led by Pat Cerullo gained attention in 2021 for purchasing four AM radio stations from Cumulus Media. Now, Cerullo and his Major Keystone operation are in the news again, as he’s purchasing an FM translator poised to serve Stroudsburg, Pa.

W222BV, at 92.3 MHz, holds a construction permit that would relocate its Class D facility from Harmony Township, N.J., north to Stroudsburg — today a city with commuters to New York City-area suburbs, Manhattan itself, and areas to the south in the Lehigh Valley.

That’s likely what excites Cerullo and Major Keystone, which is paying $20,000 for the facility from seller Penn-Jersey Educational Radio Corporation.

A 10% deposit has been made by Major Keystone to the seller. Serving as the seller’s legal counsel is Brad Deutsch of Foster Garvey; the buyer’s legal counsel is Marissa Repp.
